Field Study and Research

This collection documents the hands-on, behind-the-scenes labor that sustains conservation work through the HFF. I focused on capturing the physicality and intention of time spent in the field—boots in the mud, measuring tapes stretched across streams, quiet moments of observation and data collection. These images highlight the human relationship to land stewardship, emphasizing process over product and revealing the care, patience, and precision required to support healthy ecosystems.
